The History
Behind Tropical Spices
As a native Jamaican, I have fond memories of the tasty, well-seasoned dishes my grandmother prepared. The desire to recreate those delicious authentic flavors of grandma’s cooking led to the creation of the Tropical Spices range of seasonings. The aim is to bring a taste of Jamaica to the United States through our specially blended spices and seasonings.
Our products are made in Jamaica from natural ingredients all locally grown and carefully blended to bring that authentic Jamaican flavor to your palettes.
Tropical Spices started operation in Jamaica in 2010 and the demand rapidly grew. Jamaicans visiting home from overseas, having used the products find that they are jampacked with all the flavors and goodness of real Jamaican home cooking. Their desire to be able to buy the products in the United States led to our venture in the U.S. market in 2022.
